About Course

The ILO have developed Small Business Competitiveness (SBC) which aims at providing a set of tools for countries across the Asia region to develop and upgrade micro and small businesses in the tourism sector, providing entrepreneurs and those who work with them guidance on how to establish, run and improve their business operations. SBC is based on the ILO community- based Enterprise Development (C-Bed) approach.

The objective of the training is to improve the trainees capacity to assist the MSME in their development enabling to develop and upgrade small & micro businesses, guide entrepreneurs and those who work with them or how to establish, run and improve the business, boosting competitiveness and improving services.

C-BED for aspiring entrepreneurs is an introductory training that is suitable also for audiences with very limited literacy and useful to everyone who wants to gain basic familiarity with business development and operation. This training is intended to assist you as entrepreneurs to develop a solid  business plan, an essential part of success that will help to obtain financing to manage a business and to help you work efficiently towards a target. It will generate ideas to inspire you to take advantage of the opportunities in the booming tourism industry and reduce the chances of failure.

For a nominal registration fee of Rs. 200, participants will gain access to essential business knowledge, learn practical skills, and receive expert guidance to embark on their entrepreneurial journey with confidence.

After successful registration:

– Candidates must download the registration form from the “Assignments” and upload it back

– Fill in the necessary details accurately.

Eligible candidates will be invited to join the full training course for a fee of Rs. 6000, which unlocks the entirety of our robust training curriculum.

 Terms and Conditions:

  1. Registration and Course Fees:
  • The initial registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Course fee (Rs. 6000) must be paid after candidate eligibility is confirmed and before commencement of the course.
  1. Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates should be running small enterprises and who wish to sustain and improve the business
  1. Submission of Forms:
  • Completed registration forms must be received by the specified deadline.
  • Incomplete or late submissions may result in the forfeiture of the registration.
  1. Course Participation:
  • Active participation is required throughout the training.
  • Participants may be assessed through assignments, quizzes, and a final evaluation.
  1. Refunds and Cancellations:
  • Fee refunds are not available once the course has started.
  • Cancellations must be communicated at least 5 days (120 hours) before the course begins for a refund of the course fee.
  1. Certification:
  • Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate.
  • Certification is contingent on attendance, participation, and satisfactory completion of all course requirements.
